All Food Vendors chosen to participate in the Event will be responsible to meet the City of Toronto Health Department rules & regulations for their food service to the public.
All Vendors must abide by all local health, safety and fire regulations and will be responsible to meet the City of Toronto special Events rules & regulations for their interaction with & sale to the public.
Tents must be secured with 50lb (22.7kg) weights on each tent leg before event begins. Additional charges will apply if weights supplied by Event.
Each Vendor is responsible for their own expenses incurred in the set-up and operation of their booth including liability insurance.
Vendors must obtain, at their own cost, all necessary licensees, permits, inspections, insurance and certificates for the sale of or display of their products.
Vendors must comply with all provincial and federal sales tax laws.
Vendor set-up takes place between 8:30am and 9:30am. Tear-down will take place at 10:00pm unless otherwise authorized. During the event, no portion of your booth may be removed.
Vendor parking will be in designated areas only.
Vendors must check in at the BIA BOOTH prior to setting up your space.
The Crossroads BIA will designate the location of your space and reserves the right to relocate your space due to extenuating circumstances beyond their control.
Vendors may NOT share vendor space without the express written consent of the Crossroads BIA.
A minimum of one staff member over the age of 18 years must be present in the Vendor's space at all times. Space can not be left unattended.
The Vendor agrees the the Crossroads BIA, it's officers, Members, Staff or Event Volunteers are not responsible for any lost, stolen or damaged equipment or products should such an incident occur during the Event. Your equipment and products and their safekeeping are the Vendor's sole responsibility.
The Vendor agrees that the Crossroads BIA is not liable for any failure of or delay in the performance of this agreement for the period that such failure or delay is due to causes beyond its control, including but not limited to, acts of God, storm, natural disaster, acts of terrorism, utility outages or interruptions, strikes or labour disputes, or any other force majeure event.
